PAST WORK
Alexandros Simopoulos (b. 1990) lives and works in Athens. He studied International and European Studies at Panteion University, and Visual Arts and Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts with a scholarship from the University of the Arts London. His works have been presented in institutions, museums and galleries internationally, such as: Santa Fe Art Institute, MUDAC Lausanne, CID Grand Hornu, Urban Nation Museum Berlin, Nuuk Museum, Esplora Science Center, Valletta18 European Capital of Culture, Fondation du Château Mercier, Onassis Cultural Center Athens , Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. He participated in residency programs internationally with scholarships/fellowships from the Fulbright Foundation, Berliner Leben Stiftung, European Cultural Foundation, SNF ARTWORKS Artist Fellowship Program, French Ministry of Culture. His works have been published in the international press such as the International New York Times and Le Monde.
