PAST WORK
Natalia Manta is a visual artist based in Athens, a graduate of the Athens School of Fine Arts, and holds a Master's in Visual Arts from the same institution. From 2017 to 2020, she taught sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts. Her artistic collaborations include multimedia performances with director Thodoris Abazis, choreographer Androniki Marathaki, and musicians Yiannis Anastasakis, Evi Filippou, Hayden Chisholm, Sébastien Gramss, and Savina Yannatou. Her solo exhibition “E.S.A.E.I” was held at Kappatos Gallery, Athens, in 2017, while her works have also been showcased in prominent group exhibitions such as “VERTIGO” at the B & M Theocharakis Foundation for the Fine Arts and Music (2024), “All Things Become Island Before My Senses” in Istanbul and Leros (2024), “Biennale of Contemporary Ceramics” at the Prehistoric Thera Museum in Santorini (2024), “All Our World is Dew” at the ACG Collection in Athens (2024), and “HANDMADE: On the Social Dimension of Craft” at EMST Athens and Art Space Pythagorion in Samos (2022). Her work has also appeared internationally in “RESTART” at the Korean International Ceramic Biennale in South Korea (2021) and “Elefsina Mon Amour” as part of Eleusis European Capital of Culture, exhibited at Onassis Stegi and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center. She has been awarded by ARTWORKS (2022) and is a Fellow of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Artist Support Program. Natalia has participated in artist residencies, including the Jardin Rouge - Montresso Foundation in Morocco and the G & A Mamidakis Foundation Research Residency Programme in Crete. Her works are included in private collections.
